Qualitative/Integrated Research Manager - Leeds

Naturally, you will be a skilled researcher with strong experience across all qualitative methodologies, but you’ll be adept at integrating research results from a range of sources to present a compelling story to your clients.  You’ll be both a clever thinker, a challenger of the status quo and a creative presenter who can deliver actionable insights with style and authority.

This exciting role will span:

  • Delivering inspirational qualitative/integrated projects to our current clients
  • Assisting in growing and developing our client relationships and base
  • Managing and motivating a team of research executives to deliver and exceed client expectations

You’ll work across a range of sectors including travel, finance, FMCG, utilities and others.  Clients you would have the opportunity to work with include (but are not limited to) Jet2, Arla, Yorkshire Water and Legal & General.

We help clients with all aspects of their business, from product and service development through to brand and creative development. You will be skilled in a broad range of research applications, thrive on variety and know the best solutions to meet our clients’ challenges.

Role detail

Expertise

You will work with the team to develop a number of accounts (and assist in developing new ones), delivering project-winning proposals that challenge the status quo and highlight your expertise, strategic thinking and creative delivery.

You will showcase your expertise through story-led debriefs and mentor junior team members to develop their skills in this area. Strategic thinking, sector knowledge and commerciality will be strong to support our clients in making big decisions with confidence.

Commerciality

You will be self-motivated, proactive with your current clients and able to play a key role in generating new business opportunities, your team’s development and the agency’s growth plans (with support from the senior management team).

Teamwork and collaboration

You will be part of a wider team and have a solution mindset, helping to resource projects and work alongside effective partners and freelancers.  Leading and managing a team of research executives day-to-day is key to this role.

Innovation and technology

You will be looking to technology to enhance not only what we do but to improve the participant experience.  You will be open minded to using fresh and innovative ways to approach client research needs and to deliver insight that wow clients and make them come back for more.

Service excellence

You will be a confident client and internal team manager, leading integrated projects efficiently from proposal and pitch through to delivery, alongside your senior and junior colleagues.  You will be confident leading client-viewed fieldwork and workshops and will be able to work at a consultative level with both clients and partners.

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Hours of work:  Full time, 35 hours per week based in the Leeds office
